Karlsruhe, Germany, 1971

As a member of the Canadian Air Force stationed in Germany, we had access to US Military PX's in the area. The nearest one was at Karlsruhe, so we visited there many times.

Karlsruhe was a beautiful city, but our favorite place was the Stadtpark (City Park). Following are some pictures taken in the park on one of our visits.

Every town in Germany of any size had a city park, but they were more than just parks. they were botanical gardens and zoos as well.
